Risotto al Marsala

  • 400 lbs of rice
  • 1 Tbsp of butter
  • 1 Tbsp minced shallots or onions
  • 1/3 Cup Lombardo Dry Marsala Wineo
  • 1 Tbsp saffron
  • 1,5 lts of prepared instant broth
  • parmesan
  • Freshly ground pepper

Heat half of the butter with the onions or shallots finely chopped until softned.Then add the rice and let brown it..Some minutes later add the Marsala,stirring occasionally until liquid evaporates. Pour ,little by little,the broth and the saffron, Stir countinuosly until rice is cooked When the rice is ready add the remaining butter,the parmesan,the fresh pepper and serve.
